About the Position
The Strategic Marketing Manager will drive demand generation strategies for LC-MS (Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) solutions in the Biomarker Discovery and Omics Research market. This individual will develop and execute creative, multi-channel marketing campaigns and communication strategies, generate demand at targeted industry events, and track market trends to maintain insights that shape commercial strategy. Leveraging technical knowledge, performance analytics, and a strong professional network, the Strategic Marketing Manager will identify opportunities to expand market visibility and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to win new customers and increase market share in the Americas region.
About the Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) is required; Advanced degree is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, product management, or a technical or scientific role in the life science market
- Knowledge and experience with LC-MS and Mass Spectrometry within the Omics space
- Established network of relevant industry contacts within the academic research community
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strategic direction through data-driven approaches
- Experience managing projects from inception to completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel up to 40% within the US, Canada, and Latin America
- Must be based in a major city near a major airport
