About the Position 

The Regional Business Manager (Regional Sales Manager) reports directly to the VP of Sales and is responsible for managing and directing a regional sales team consisting of Account Executives calling on hospital labs (microbiology) and are specialized in capital and consumable sales process and contracting, to achieve the financial and business objectives of the region. As a Sales Leader, the RBM has full accountability for driving market share growth for the entire P&L and enhancing the sales growth in the assigned region. Sales growth will be achieved through protecting base business while simultaneously growing competitive share. This leader is responsible for leading a winning culture, building a high performing team, evaluation and upskilling direct reports’ sales competency while executing sales processes and implementing business strategies.

 

About the Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong sales management experience- proven track record of recruiting good talent and building teams
  • 10 years of overall sales or sales management experience in the medical device industry
  • Ability to operate well in a matrixed environment- strong collaboration skills
  • Someone with career headroom who is seeking eventual upward mobility
  • Ideal: Exposure to microbiology
