About the Position
The Molecular Oncology Sales Specialist will be interacting with medical oncologists, pathologists, surgical oncologists, and gynecologic oncologists, calling on the oncology clinic, pathology lab, interventional radiology suite, and hospital operating room to assist in the procurement of biopsies for diagnostic assessment. This role is responsible for driving commercial adoption of an innovative portfolio of liquid biopsy solutions within the assigned territory. This role will involve developing and executing strategic sales plans, building relationships with key stakeholders, and consulting with healthcare providers on our competitive advantages. You will partner closely with regional sales teams and develop strategies to support market adoption—from driving success for new product launches to capturing market share—while delivering revenue growth. This is an opportunity to represent a differentiated technology platform in the rapidly growing segment of precision oncology.
About the Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Several successful years selling into the molecular profiling and/or oncology space
- Strong knowledge of oncology therapeutics, surgical oncology intervention and molecular laboratory science. A working knowledge of oncology biomarkers and associated drug response is a major advantage.
- High degree of understanding the client relationship with physicians, their needs, and how we can provide service and technology solutions for their pathology needs.

- Possess strong working knowledge of the billing and reimbursement laboratory landscape to be a resource to the customer.
- Strong knowledge of and access to regional hospital systems
- Solid relationships with surgical oncology specialists and local pathologists are highly desirable
- Hunter sales mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Works well with others in a matrixed sales environment
- Target 90% of time spent meeting with customers and prospects. Home-office based.
