Our client is a privately held custom clinical packaging, logistics, and transportation company. They have done very well over the past 25 years and have been known to be nimble, flexible, and truly offer custom solutions for their pharma clients. They have around 21 locations with a corporate headquarters in the U.S. They have been in expansion mode over the past couple of years (with double digit growth) and are now ready to put the pedal to the metal and expand their salesforce as well.
About the Position
The Director of Business Development will call on pharma clients throughout Research Triangle Park and the Southeast to sell this company’s end-to-end solutions (clinical trial packaging, distribution, cold chain logistics, and courier/transportation services). This will largely be a “hunter” role focused on landing new clients and expanding the business.
About the Candidate Profile
5+ years of sales experience in the clinical packaging, clinical transportation/logistics, or CDMO space.
Strong experience in hunting/new business development
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with pharma relationships in place
Entrepreneurial spirit, ability work work in a small/medium sized company, and enthusiasm!
