About the Position
The Account Executive will drive revenue growth and expand market share across the Southwest Texas and New Mexico territory with a primary focus on San Antonio, TX. This role involves selling capital equipment and consumables to surgeons and radiologists within hospital systems and affiliated clinics.
This is a field-based role and is responsible for managing the complete sales process, including territory strategy, new business development, and account expansion. The position requires a clinical aptitude and the ability to support surgeons and clinicians in procedural settings. Daily activities include developing strategic call plans, consultative selling, delivering product education, and strengthening long-term customer relationships.
About the Requirements
- 2+ years of capital equipment sales experience in hospital or surgical settings
- 4+ years of successful sales experience in a complex B2B environment
- Medical device experience strongly preferred; clinical comfort required
- Proven success with value-based selling, negotiation, and objection handling
- Experience supporting clinicians or working in the OR is a plus
- Strong relationship-building, territory management, and strategic planning skills
- Must reside in or near San Antonio, TX
- Local field travel of 4–5 days per week is required, with up to 25% overnights
