They have medications for a wide range of conditions such as: autoimmune diseases, connective tissue disorders, general dermatology, gastroenterology, hepatic conditions, immunology, musculoskeletal conditions, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, rare diseases, respirology, and rheumatology.
About the Position:
The Pharmacy Billing Manager will report into the Bronx pharmacy and will manage a handful of accounts. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Create complete profiles for all new patients. Demographic, Insurance, clinical, and delivery information.
- Verify patient’s insurance coverage.
- Customer Service/Communication with patients and physicians regarding patients treatments, medication, etc.
- Type all incoming prescriptions, run the claims to the insurance plans, get prior auth. for rejected claims.
- Aid physician office with appeal process
- Assist with Copays
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Billing Experience Required
