About the Position
The Molecular Automation Sales Specialist will call on large hospitals (doing 30,000+ diagnostic tests per day), reference labs, national reference labs, and women’s health hubs to sell a large automated piece of capital equipment that runs women’s health and sexual health tests. The territory will include LA, MS, TN, KN, VA, WV, Washington DC, and parts of the Carolinas. The person in this role will be a true hunter- finding new business, closing deals, and then moving on to the next (as there will be peers who will handle the back end of the process and take care of account management). This division is a startup within a fortune 100 company- so the environment is fast paced and entrepreneurial. If you are a motivated and courageous sales rep with high ticket capital sales experience in the medical space- this is the right role for you!
About the Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong capital sales background in diagnostics, surgical, or imaging (experience selling equipment in the $200k – $1m price tag range)
- Ability to travel Tuesday through Thursday in a large territory
- Strong hunting experience- this role is solely going after new business
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders (C-Suite included)
